3D Printed F106 Delta Dart One Piece Airplane! Today we took flight at the Arena in Amsterdam with full afterburners on! Watch this little bird fly on Youtube at the Arena in Amsterdam here: https://youtu.be/sQE-7mRf_Z8 This one piece 3D printed plane fits 200x200mm beds. Best printed with support for the nose and rubber band notch area. Printing small brim on the first layer will also help the nose section stick to the bed. Some slicers set the skirt to 0mm to make brims. Designed for 0.15 layer height and a 120% first layer. This one was made with PLA but PLA is fragile and if you hit solid things the plane will quickly break. Flying into a grass field did no damage so far... Nylon would probably be a better choice. When the print is finished, unstick it from your bed (PEI beds are great!!) and while still warm, just lean the body over slightly to bend the two wings into a slight dihedral so the wing tips are a bit higher than the root where the wing meets the body. This helps stability. With a strong rubber band the plane will fly quite a long way. Other than the afterburner and supersonic speed, this is nearly a real F106... (missiles are extra)
