3d model of a Nyala modelled, textured, rigged and animated in Blender 2.68.

The Rig:
The simple rig has been animated for 130 frames using 4 cameras from different angles. The controls for the feet are 4 bones. The overall control is a large circle set at the base of the model.

The Model:
The model consists of around 4000 polygons. Eyes have been parented to the head bone. The root tail controls the other bones of the tail.

The Texture:
The texture is a PNG FILE 2048x2048 embedded within the .blend file.

*What if you pull the bones and the model becomes weird?


Solution:

go into the pose mode , press A to select all the bones. Press Alt+g and then Alt+r to clear all location and rotation information on the bones. You model regains its initial rest pose.

Animation:
Press Alt+A in combination to play the animation.

To remove armature and use only the model:

Unparent the body from the bones by pressing Alt+P. Then go to the keyframes and delete them.
