Every building creates a space around itself, gives structure to the environment and inspires people in their working lives and their everyday existence. The Nordea Building has done just that ever since it was completed in autumn 2009. The modern building at Liivalaia 45 in Tallinn’s city centre is right in the heart of Tallinn’s new financial district. The anchor tenant of the 14-storey edifice is the Estonian branch of Nordea Bank Finland Plc. The first storey of the Nordea Building houses Nordea’s elegant main office. Between the building and Maakri street is a modern urban square that enhances the value of the building area. As the building was built around a central concrete heart in which utility lines run, all of the storeys have an open floor plan and tenants are free to decide the layout that is right for them.
