The standoff is just a spacer, to compensate for designs where a motor damper is assumed but not present.
The damper is an untested part, meant to be printed in ninjaflex with support. I will work on a PLA damper. It will require some M3 nuts & bolts, and a bit of imagination. 2x diagonal holes mount to the motor, and the others mount to your machine.
The gallery picture is an image of a purpose made damper, for which this Thing will never be a good substitute.
