Reticular structure made up of nodes in ABS 3D printed connected by pipes in Aluminium.
The nodes are fixed withT-Screws for seat Track detained in position by safetycirclips.
Even the seat tracks connected on the lower side of the main plate are secured with captive screws.
The pipes must have the end marked with paint of the same color of the node to which they must be connected.
The color combinations are unique for which there is no possibility of error; the instructions will only give the location of the color on the fixing angles.
The dismantled structure occupies little space, fits in a small box.
It is easily detachable from the main seat tracks to be mounted in other position.
The disassembly can take place at the level of main tracks or secondary tracks added below the mounting plate.
Then the nodes in ABS can be 3D printed directly on ISS while the screws and pipes already cutted should be shipped from the earth.
The connection between the tubes and the nodes is done by simple compression without retaining pin because at load conditions there are no forces that tend to remove the tubes from the nodes or in any case there are negligible components.
Alternatively you can add a drop of glue or increase the grip between the aluminum and plastic engraving the tube with sawtooth small grooves.
At this scope also add reports of FEA although I think it is not very reliable because the structure is complex with dissimilar materials.
It would be more this simple consideration:
the structure is comparable to a small chair on which we should sit a small person. I therefore believe that it is a more reliable empirical testing,
