This is my little project for my ASRock AM1H-ITX home NAS. I use 4 HDDs for RAID and one SSD for Linux.
It uses 4 neodymium magnets (12mm by 2mm) to hold the top and bottom together. The magnet holders are printed separately and glued on with hot glue. This is due to the smallest possible size of this case (just around the mini-ITX mobo specs) so the mobo will not go in if the magnet holders are printed with the bottom.
Two small holes in front are for the power LED and HDD LED, hole in the back is for the power button. Side holes are used to lift it and the side perimeter holes are for the ventilation.
It uses a standard 120mm fan and runs cold most of the time even in summer.
There is no copyright on it, so feel free to contact me for the original DesignSpark Mechanical source files if you want to play around with it and modify in any way.
