The C50 series MSX ST2 Stelvio was released in 2012 to replace the C41 MSX ST2 coupe. While the old ST2 coupe was derived from the C40 ST2 hatch, the Stelvio is a unique design sharing no body panels with the C51 ST2 hatch released two years later in 2014. The purpose of this was to provide MSX with the 2+2 seat sports car that had been missing from the model range for some time. This also allowed MSX to separate its coupe from its general C-segment hatch and wagon program. The GTSR is a further development of the ST2 Stelvio GTS. Along with the 2.8 litre twin turbo inline 6 with 350hp (261kW, 355PS) and 325ft-lb (441Nm), 3 mode traction control and magnetic dampers from the GTS, the GTSR adds a six speed transaxle manual gearbox (there's no auto option), 8 piston brakes, a carbon fibre roof and an aluminium bonnet and bootlid. The back seat has also been removed. A GTSR can be identified by it's unique stripes and decals, the stripes are availiable in blue, black or white. Like the GTS, the GTSR is partially produced in Cologne, Germany, without it's engine, body kit or front panels, and then completed by UK-Based IPT. It costs AU$82,950, US$43,990, £37,190, 44,750. This might seem expensive for a small MSX, but it offers great value as a performance car compared to a 135is coupe or TT RS. #135is #320 #350 #370Z #86 #Amega #Audi #BMW #BRZ #car #coupe #cylinder #FRS #GTS #GTSR #inline #LDR #lightweight #M135i #MSX #MSXR #Nissan #Omega #Piractio #Scion #Scirocco_R #six #sports #SSE #ST2 #Stelvio #Subaru #Toyota #transaxle #TT_RS #turbo #twin #Volkswagen
