The all new XT3 is based on the ST2, not the ST3 like the old model. This means it has a longitudinal engine and a shorter front overhang. It is still about the same size as the old model, but has more interior space. The suspension is the same as an ST2. Like the old XT3, it has been designed to work off road, so it has a diff lock, hill descent/ascent control, 250mm of ground clearance, optional low range gearing and traction control. It now comes with a 2.0l turbo diesel, a 1.6l turbo petrol or a 2.5l inline 6. This is the CXT, with a 2.0l CCOBRA D4 turbo diesel producing 108kW@4100rpm and 337Nm@2150rpm, low range gearing, extra underbody protection, black bumpers and wheelarches, adjustable suspension, cruise control, 6 airbags, a 6 speed manual, CD player, fog lights and American Racing wheels.
