The all new MSX ST7 has arrived after some delays. The S7 series was launched eartier with the Taipan fastback, and now the first sedans and SP6 and 8 fastbacks are ariving. Like every S series MSX before it, the S7 is built at MSX's Melbourne factory, which produces medium to large rear drive cars and crossover SUVs, and has been upgraded. The S71 ST7 is a muscle coupe with class leading ride and handling, and excellent safety and reliability.The SP6 has a 3.6L straight 6 engine produing 235kW(315hp)@6100rpm and 400Nm(295ft lb)@2400rpm. That's not as much as an ISO MC1 SE, but this car's 6 cylinder engine is lighter, meaning less weight over the front wheels and the body itself is shorter and lighter, so while an MC1 will be slightly faster in a straight line, this is faster in the corners. And there's always the SP8 or GTX fastback. This car's fitted with a six speed manual but a 6 speed DCG auto is optional. You also get performance suspension and brakes, alloy wheels, DSC with track mode, leather seats, 6 disc CD player, iPod connection, and 7 airbags.
