Ms cubesat ( 2- piece cubesat)

Ms cubesat is designed in two frames-1 main frame and 2 lid frame.
Ms cubesat is designed , keeping in mind easy assembling and disassembling of cubesat and its components.

Manufacturing method

Ms cubesat can be manufactured by either of two methods
1 SLS (selective laser sintering)
2 FDM (fused deposition modelling)

Materials used can be nylon or aluminium but weight will increase in later case.
for nylon parts approx. weight - 92-98 gms
for aluminium parts approx weight - 220 - 230 gms

although above mentioned methods are suited for manufacturing of Ms cubesat ; SLS will justify the economical manufacturing


Assembling procedure

(All pcb's and payloads can be fastened together by means of fastneres and fits between them on any two diagonally opposite sides before inserting into frame) OR ( can be directly inserted in to main frame by means of extension rod provided in main frame on diagoally opposit sides)
then main frame 2 ( lid frame) can be used to close the open end of main frame and can be fastened to main frame by means of fastners.

solar panels and cover plates can be fastened to main frame by using appropriate sized fastners

Easy and quick assembly and disassembly
