Update: I have it on the bike for about half a year now.
Tested it on a longer road and it still OK. We'll see how will it last after the winter (I left it on the bike in the garage - no heating)
This is my first project after I bought my printer.
It was made in Openscad and it is to hold my GPS bag:http://www.louis.de/_10d2790dfbb4c522fb9c76b088ad51edb3/index.php?topic=artnr_gr&artnr_gr=10032971
I redesigned some parts because I realized they were to sharp!!!
I leave everything here... you decide which version you like the more :)
If you have improvement ideas or realised some part is wrong let me know.
Version 2 updates:
Longer mounting ring so it gives more space for me to put in the keys and turn the ignition: It is 75 mm in total because that is the space between my handle bar spacers.
under rings are smaller for saving print time and material
rounded edges on more pieces including the mounting plates
Version 3.0:
08 Mounting head.... now has 4 holes so the plate can be mounted in anydirection this way the bag can be fitted in landscape or portrait mode and the little support under the last hole reduced because you couldn't mount the screw in it :(
Old description:
In the End I used the 4mm ones from the GPS bag and mounted the bag to the frame with other ones.
The quick release is my design so I don't know how well will hold on a bumpy road :)
The plate is designed separately so it is easier to print and this way anyone can use it with another quick release system.
You also gonna need 2 x 5 /20 mm screws + nuts for the adjustments.
The width of the 3 plated holder is 3 mm, the middle piece is 2.5 thick so after print it will fit without problems... at least in my printer :)
