The Motor mount included in this rc boat model would not hold/fit the needs for myself. This was then created to allow me to fit a SSS 4092 motor in to the boat.
This includes two parts. Front end and rear end of the mount.
Front is used to hold the motor inplace. so it does not shift left or right.
Rear is there to hold the motor in tight. as this uses a clasping method. This will need an M3 nut and nylon nut. With washers to keep the screw and nut from damaging the mount.
When installing. Mount the front end of the mount to the motor and move it to the point where there is little to no slack with the drive train.
Then attach the rear end mount. tighten it up and place in the slot of the boat. This essentually means the motor is in place.
But best to use CA Glue on the rear mount against the hull of the boat.
The way this is designed will allow the user to remove the motor freely by untightening the rear clasp and sliding the motor forward and then up. But also have the regidity to hold such a monster of a motor!!.
