This is a mostly 3D printed Mountainboard. The individual files will be uploaded after i tested everything properly.
I printed the deck with a 2mm thickness and laminated it with glassfibre (Ttotal=12mm).
Every big part was printed separatly and fused together with a soldering iron (big tip, 260°C) and some additional filament as a gap filler. That creates a suprisingly strong bond.
The five small enclosures can fit up to 12s8p 18650 cells. The slimest part of the enclosure is c.a. 72mm wide so its also suited for 21700 cells.
Im currently designing some modular battery holders for both 21700 and 18650 cells.
Each enclosure is held by four m5 bolts and some threated inserts. Im planning to use some thick kind of foam to dampen driving noise and add some water resistance.
I'll add some tunnels to connect each compartment.
The big enclosure can fit 200x100x38mm. It has two cutouts for one xt60 for charging and a hole for a push button.
The wheels are 6x2" pneumatic tires from aliexpress and the rims are also planed to be printed.
Trucks: "MBS Matrix II truck" uploaded by "Creavenger"
I need to test everything before anyone should try and copy the board.
Not sure if its going to work. Im hoping for any recommendations and advice regarding my design decisions.
