If you need to learn how to use this system, you are in the wrong place! Hydroponics is a skillset unto itself so please understand that this will NOT just grow plants by throwing seeds and water together.
Instructions:
Gather all necessary parts:
-All of the 3d printed parts you need for your desired arrangement of tower.
You will require one of every piece.
Optional variations include:
"EXTENSION" pieces to add vertical spacing between grow sites
AND
Stacking the 2nd level grow sites to create a larger tower. Technically the tower is only limited by the LIFT rating of your pump. My recommended pump can handle 3 levels with 1/2" tubing. (Smaller tubing will reduce lift and flow)
Print all parts with recommended print settings. Make sure your printer is calibrated well as fitment is very important for this system to work properly.
Once you have printed your desired combination of parts, obtain your reservoir container.
To install the tower, a 3.1" hole should be cut where you'd like it to live.
I have my tower currently installed in a pre-existing 6 site reservoir and it's too crowded. I recommend a singular 5 gallon bucket if you have the space for it.
Use HYDROTOWERBASE_LOCKINGCOLLAR to attach the base to the lid.
Now you may stack your tower pieces starting with the first floor, then any extension/stacking pieces, finally followed by the Distributor Cap.
Install your Aquarium pump in the bottom of the tank underneath the tower and run your 1/2" hose up through the tower. Getting the assembly locked together can be a little bit tricky but be patient. One recommendation is to install the hose starting at the bottom, trimming the length just before installing the distributor cap.
