This is a full-size headless guitar that's split into smaller exchangeable parts. The parts slide onto two 3/8 inch x 36 inch steel rods that I brought from home depot. The only screws are the screws that came with the tuners, other than that, the parts are held together by the tension of the strings. I originally wanted more features such as a rail system for bodies, but that will come with version 2.
The "sound hole" is useless, so it's a good area to extend a custom body from. I forgot places for straps but there are places to tie onto above the zero fret and above the tuning pegs. Aside from tuning pegs, strings (duh), audio jack, knob (which could easily be printed), potentiometer, pickup, and the supporting rods, everything else is printed. IMPORTANT: Buy steel rods, I thought I might be able to get away with aluminum, but no, it'll flex. Also, steel rods were cheaper by a dollar each.
I will not post video of the sound any time soon (sorry), as I am a horrible guitarist. I'd appreciate it if any musically inclined makers record a video demonstrating this design. I'll give you free publicity right here.
