I have a glass bed and heating pad that I placed on top of the original aluminum bed. This changes the Height difference for the Z-Stop switch to a value that is taller than the Original bed. I also had to print bed corners to raise this glass and heating pad because the screws for the bed are not inset screws. So this forced me to raise the height of the Z-Stop switch holder element of this Mod. I believe I raised it 7 mm.
This Mod has allowed me to level my bed easily and retain the leveling unlike the original Z-Stop switch holder, which used to slide down over time because the screws can only hold it in the slide for so long. I Modified hole for the setscrew bolt to a #4 bolt in the X-End Set Screw piece of the Mod, I can add or remove height from the bed with a finger twist of that screw.
I Wish I had found this mod a year ago.
