14/08/2018 - Corrected error in main body left & right, Please re-download files.
I was commissioned to develop this model from a concept sketch the client had found online, we were both unable to find an original source, So if you recognise the source from the original concept design image i was sent, please drop me a message. So i can give proper credit.
I took the clients provided concept design and made it 3D Printable! The design is pretty faithful to the original, however like my previous model some changes were done to make the design theoretically more functional. One example of these small modifications relate to the placement of the barrel in relation to the cylinder and the size of cartridges, which make now functional sense in the concept drawings. Therefore the barrel had been slightly modified to accept the designs cartridges.
Notes:
Functioning "reload mechanism"
Simulated Functioning trigger. (You can pull the trigger)
Simulated Functioning Hammer (You can pull the Hammer)
Model had been split to reduce the about of support filament required.
If you do print this, please post a "make", I would love to see this !!
The Original concept designer, (Should they be identified) has the right to request the
removal of this design at any point. (So download while you can)
Big Thanks to the client for allowing me to release the file now your 3 months requested time limit is up – it was a pleasure working with you!
Offer is still open:
After my last post, I got quite a few requests, and have been able to create some cool designs, which I have been told I can release relatively "soon". So I'm dropping my message here like in my last post. However, I may have to take the offer off the table for a while, as I catch up with the requests.
If you like the design, Please read below:
I have been silently converting peoples concept designs, into 3D printable models, as I find this enjoyable, I'm going to start releasing these files for free, incrementally, as I finish them. Some are quite simplistic, and a few are quite detailed. (These releases are also dependent on if the original concept designers are okay with releasing a 3D printable version)
Here is the good bit, if you have a concept design of a prop you would love to see made, please contact me, I will happily convert your design into a 3D Printable file, for FREE !!!
Whats the catch? I hear you ask......... There is just one, is SLOW, it can take me a while to produce the designs. I'm a full-time teacher, so I do this in my free time. So if you don't mind a wait potential long wait I'm happy to work with you for FREE.
