12/26/17 Added edge guide to drill guide.
12/18/17 Replaced corner braces and rear y-rod holders with mirrored pairs. Rplaced Rambo adapter (attaches RAMBO case to extrusion for stiffness) and PSU (fits clone) with versions with slotted screw hols for extrusion attachment.
12/17/17 updated drill guide to Mk3 spacing. Replaced RAMBO case with new cable grips (use mk2.5 covers). Do NOT use y-idler until re-done as the lenght is wrong compared to the Mk3 version.
10/26/17 modified belt holder to allow bed to go back fully. Rear extrusion should have been 5mm longer and front ones shorter. clone is assembled and passed self-test.
10/22/17 files refreshed
This started as a cost saving alternative to the Haribo/Zaribo mods. The intension was to re-use as much as possible of the MK2 while discarding the allthread. Then the MK3 came out and I modified my design to follow his. This is in no way official!!! This is stricltly my version. The parts have only been tested on a clone frame at this point. The RAMBo case is a solif case with a removalble panel door and a separate brace that attaches to the extrusion. It is totally optional. My PSU case is for a different PSU and may not fit the Prusa PSU (not tested) but it should be trivial to modify his to attach to the extrusion. I will upload extrusion lengths later.
It should be possible to use the drilling guide with all MK3 parts if you download the DXF files for the front and back plates, print them at 1:1 and glue that to steel as a cutting/drilling guide. If you go that route use the Prusa supplied lengths for the extrusions. Hole sizes are 3.1mm (1/8") and 5.1mm (3/16"). https://github.com/prusa3d/Original-Prusa-i3/tree/MK3/Frame
