This is a miter box that I made specifically to cut PVC pipe at US 1-inch internal. (I don't know if this is how it's done in the rest of the world, but in America the pipe diameter is the inside, not the dimension on the outside.) The external diameter is actually 33.5mm or roughly 1.3 inches. I also made a separate miter box for 1.5-inch PVC pipe at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3037167.
I decided to make this a uniform 35mm width (you know, to be globally-minded), so there is a tiny bit of wiggle room when using standard 1-inch pipe, but not enough to be a big concern. The ends need to be sanded down after cutting anyway.
The box is designed for straight cuts as well as 15°, 30°, and 45° cuts.
