Mini Z Air flight 053 Crash

Mini Z is the small version of Zephyrus Airlines. On December 8th 2000, the Zephyrus Z113 crashed on the runway at La Chinita International Airport located at Maracaibo, Venezuela. The plane's tires blown when the plane touched down, with that and very strong winds, the plane, landing at a high speed, flipped the plane over on the runway, the wing ripped off and fire started burning, only 3 of the 50 people on board survived, both of the pilots survived when the plane flipped, the cockpit broke off and the explosion shot it 10 meters out. which was far enough for it to not caught fire. When the and rescuers came to the scene 5 minuites after the crash, everything except the cockpit was burning, firefighters managed to stop the fire 10 minuites later, but it was too late, everything except part of the left wing and the cockpit have burned. Both the black boxes were also burned.. It was later found out that the people that were supposed to work on the plane, didn't come to work due to illegal reasons, and there were no other people available. The tires seemed ok but when looked closely, had a section where the tire is very thin, and was the area where it burst. The investigators blamed the technicians for not coming to work, and Zephyrus's design for the wing which made the plane vulnerable to being flipped over by very strong winds.
