Mini TriCopter-Remix by 120pilot

This is a remix of Boxx's awesome Mini Tricopter. I started out adapting his design to a Naze32 style board. I also changed a few things to hopefully strengthen the frame. Along the way I added provision for a buzzer. The V4 frame leaves the bottom flush with the landing skids. This helps with strapping on a battery where the battery butts up against the rear skid. It has built in pads that are removed after printing which help adhere the support material to the print bed .The V4 frame has been printed but I have not installed electronics or flown it yet. Everything else has been printed and flown. Some of the parts may need some fitting but they all work. Everything except the top and tail skid was printed with support material. All pieces were printed in the orientation shown. I have no doubt that this version probably ends up heavier than Boxx's original. But it flys great with the 1806-2300 Dragonfly motors that I am using. I fly it with 3s 1500mah or 1800mah batteries.
I added a few pics. The assembled yellow frame is the V2 with Boxx's original legs.. The black frame with yellow legs is the V4. It also has the remixed legs. The VTX-GPS-Compass top is a project that is currently on the back burner. When I can get back to it it is where I'm headed with this one. I want to fly it with INAV like my bigger Tri but I'm not sure yet how it will work out with everything in such close proximity.
