Hello,
this is my laser engraver. I used a 300mW violet laser and the engraver is able to cut paper or to engrave cardboard and wood. With the software I used it is possible to dose the laser power and the axis speed. So even on paper you can choose whether to cut or engrave it. I did a lot of tests and came to this car after several improvements. Now the machine is perfect thanks to the use of linear ball bearings and some WD40!
Many people build an engraver like this from old CD / DVD parts. I was not able to find these parts also, as the pieces are different from CD to CD and wanting to do something repeatable, I preferred to use cheap and easily found material on the web. The list of the material is into the assembling manual. The total cost of the engraver does not exceed $ 40 (including the cost of printing, electrical equipment, linear bearings and rettified steel bars)
It is very simple to print and build. In total there are 8 pieces to print. Apart from the cover, the pieces must be printed with the supports, however, the instructions can be found in the instruction manual. To build it you just need a little knowledge of Arduino and electronics

In the instruction manual you can find the reference and the link for the purchase of all the necessary parts (there are only 6) to build the engraver.
If you like my design and you want support me, please

Offering me a coffee you will receive a manual with the instructions for the assembly, the list of the necessary material with the link where to find it and the link to the free software required.
