I designed a mount to attach a flashlight to my bicycle/ski helmet.
Fits 20mm diameter flashlight, I bought a 5 pack of them from Amazon for 15 bucks: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01D8DRFFI
There is a mounting piece that you stick to your helmet using double sided tape. The mounting piece has a 320mm diameter spherical curve cut into it so it matches up with an average helmet surface curvature.
You'll need two 2mm x 6mm screws to assemble. As you tighten the mount around the light, it also tightens into the dovetail mount attached to helmet. Loosen screws to remove from helmet.
