UPDATE 1/8/2018 - Added Step-by-Step Build Instructions PDF file and another pic. Hope this can help!
UPDATE 1/6/2018 - Added Assembly Instruction Video #3 and Updated BOM Screw Count
MicroRAP 100 is a compact desktop 3D Printer. When designing this printer, my main goal was to minimize desktop footprint, while still maintaining a respectable print build envelope of 100mm x 100mm x 100mm. Also, because of the small size, the plywood frame can be easily cut using many smaller, homemade CNC mills such as the MPCNC and Root2CNC. Use 1/4" or 6mm wood. Everything wooden in the design can be cut with a 1/8" straight endmill. Laser cutting will also work great.
The print results are excellent. It uses the E3D v6, E3D lite6, or chinese v6 clone type hotends. The build surface is a made from a small chunk of acrylic with 3 holes drilled in it with painters tape placed on top (or whatever material you'd like). Optionally, you can use the BLTouch to G29 autolevel it.
The files included are an improved version of what you see in the pictures and it now uses a series of printed connectors and m3 nuts/screws to secure the frame.
Complete and itemized bill of materials is included in the files (down to every last screw needed!)
I've used this printer for a build-your-own 3d printer class at yakimamakerspace.org
There are some assembly instructional videos but so far I've only finished the first three;https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFLvEt0uwdI&t=14shttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHWm2s4ASvshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqHEd3FNkzA
Thanks for giving it a try!
