Did you know that kids drop stuff? Like, really often? :-(
Anyways, this is a replacement cap for a Mepal pop-up drinking bottle for kids. The part itself does not get into contact with the drink, so you can use whatever. Do keep in mind that PLA is not dishwasher safe.
Aside from the blank, I added a fusion file so you can easily add a name on the lid. Might as well customize it when you take the effort to print it. Mepal changed the design after 2018 (these were bought before then), so no guarantees that it will fit.
Since I have two kids, which take 2 of these to school daily, 3 of them failed on the cap. So I decided to design a replacement. I cannot be the only person that this has happened to, so I put it up here.
Also, it helps to justify the 3D printer to your partner ("Look honey, I used my €300 toy, er, tool to fix this €9 bottle.").
