I printed Bluemetal's DC-M Cannon for use at the Perot Museum of Nature & Science and loved how it worked. Only problem is after a few uses, the pin tends to work itself out resulting in spray emitting from the hole! So I designed a pin lock to stop the pin from being fully extracted. Just print and super glue onto the pin after it is in place. I positioned it so the smooth (build plate) sides of each piece were towards each other to give a better glue surface.
I also made an adapter that will connect the cannon with 1/2" PVC pipe. They wanted a way to shoot off the cannon "in a more controlled environment"......no fun, but also way less messy! I've included the adapter as well. You may need to sand the pipe or adapter depending on the calibration of your printer. I usually just force fit the PVC and cannon together. It does leak a little bit..
