Medieval Castle

*this is only a picture!!!! The model is over 10mb, and yes, I already purged it* For more Pictures, visit my blog (link is at the bottom) This Model is a castle I made using Sketchup. The castle is based on those commonly found in England in the 13th-16th century. It has ramps, small farmhouses for peasants to work in and obviously the Main castle, which is on the hill. The smaller castle at the bottom of the hill near the outer wall is the smaller castle, now inhabited by the soldiers, along with the barracks, located at the back of the castle. Peasants living in the shadow of the castle pay their tribute to the Lord of the castle with food they grow off of their Master’s lands. In return, they receive protection from the Lord from their enemies. At the top of the Main Building in the castle , there is a small chapel for the Lord and his family. The Main entrance is made of solid oak to prevent the enemies from breaking in with a battering ram.
