This ventilator is shown without the electronics/instrumentation and the prime mover.
All the parts can be 3D Printed!
It is very cost effective! It can be assembled easily and very much PORTABLE!
Following Design Considerations are applied 100%
1. Additive manufacturing friendly
2. Tolerances suitable to AM process
3. Post Processing is avoided (near 0% post processing)
4. Assembly is much easier using FOOL-PROOF concepts.
Following System requirements are covered in this mechanism
SR-01 - Mandatory Ventilation
SR-03 - Volume Control by adjusting the stroke length
SR-07 - More than 60 LPM
SR-09 - Mandatory Ventilation: 1:2, 1:3, and 1:4 options available
SR-10 - 10-30 breaths per minute in increments of 2 bpm
SR-11 - Range of Tidal Volumes possible
SR-12 and SR-13 - Compliant
