MECHANIC VENTILATOR 4 - COVID 19 high poly
Design is going to be build around to an ADULT MANUAL RESUSCITATOR SR-001 - with a SILICONE BAG 130X210mm, and an air connector D Ext. 38mm - length 32mm.
Very large files - if your internet is slow - you have the option to download the low poly files from MECHANIC VENTILATOR 4 - COVID 19 - low poly - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4252110 .
In order to have a smooth movement, this design use 4 units - 8mm linear bearing (15X24mm), parts striped from an old 3d printer and two 8 mm rod.
Parts can be recover afterwards, design allowing the 8mm bar to be used without cutting, however need to be longer than 250mm.
MECHANIC VENTILATOR - Those are last resort solutions! Use your own judgment!
All parts can be 3d printed.
All parts are design to print without support.
All stl files are in right position to be printed.
It use a Nema 17 Stepper Motor. M4 Stud Bolt 6-8mm and a M4 Nut to connect the motor to the shaft and 4 X M3 6mm countersunk bolts to connect the motor.
4 X M4 16 -20mm bolts + nuts - for basket-arm
4 X M5 20mm bolts + nuts - for base - if secure the unit to a table - see the thickness of the top first!
SHAFT thread have a pitch of 16mm - double end thread.
SHAFT motor hole is offset with 0.3 - therefore hole is 5.6mm
It have a support for limit switch on ext. end.
Unit is secured and balanced with with 4 - 270mm - M8 thread bars (16 - M6 nuts and washers) - smaller size can be also used - with the appropriate washers.
Bag holding arms and additional sensors are going to be secured on those threaded bars.
A version with a 15X35X11 bearing on one end of the shaft is available too!
This design is intended to be last resort solutions. Use your own judgment. More advance and more stable solution are available - with pneumatic machines - when compressed air is available, however this can be used with only a power supply, or in extreme situations using 12v DC accumulators.
This machine was not tested and was not medical approved. Use it as a last resort!
