This radio tray is for the Martian-255 5" quadcopter, to help tidy up the installation of the radio equipment in the quad. The Martian is a Chinese clone of an impulseRC Alien 5" kwad https://impulserc.com/collections/alien. However, the Martian at £26 is a good budget frame being; light, compatible with all common parts, and it flies well too. This design will allow you to mount your VTX & RX simply and makes for a very tidy installation. The design caters for both the RH & LH side SMA type VTX's and you can always install an LED in the other spare hole... The design has been optimised to be printed with TPU.
Martian Frame can be bought from RadioChttp://www.radioc.co.uk/Martian-255-Alien-Clone-Carbon-Fiber-Drone-Frame-p/19902.htm
However, I should say there are two schools of thought on the solution;
mounting the radio kit, RX & VTX close together is not a good idea as may cause intermodulation product and the possibility of the VTX power over driving the sensitive front end of the RX causing blocking (resulting in reduced range) (FGA),
the other view suggests that there is no impact based on practical experience (LeDrib)... I would suggest that you make your own checks and draw your conclusions. But for me, it works...
@finalglideaus - suggests you should separate your RX & VTX if you are going to fly long distances - Chad likes the idea of radio hardware & the antenna of the two systems being mounted as far apart as possible.
Drew's view is that it all seems to work well, even when mounted close together, and Drew has not had a lockout yet... You can watch Drew kwad build for more detail

So, this design was inspired by @drewcamden aka LeDrib... http://shop.miniquadclub.com/shop/accessories/mqc-fusion-commdock/
Drew's 'commdock' was designed for the MiniQuadClub Fusion Frame - http://shop.miniquadclub.com/shop/frames/mqc-fusion/
This radio tray has been designed specifically for the Martian 5". And has a number of features Drews doesn't have in his design namely; a front & rear brace structure, square holes in the rear brace to help align the VTX, a reduced diameter rear plug in the RX antenna tube hole to help locate RX antenna tubes. This is the 3rd iteration of this design which has been optimised to print with TPU using 2mm support structures...
