Maple Syrup Tap

Here's my tap for making maple syrup. These suckers get expensive to buy a few bucks at a box store, now we can print them for pennies per piece.

Twist Drill Size: 7/16 in or 11 mmDrill Depth: 1 1/2 in or 40 mmWhen to Tap: February to mid MarchMin Tree Diameter: Around 18 in or 45 cm
I used 2mm spring steel wire to hole the jug, but any wire will do. Like a coat hanger, e.g. Mine held 18 LBS or 8 KG with no problems.Remember to fill holes with tar when done, to keep bugs out e.g.
