Main castle, Late Medieval / Early Renaissance City

This castle, the main castle of a late medieval, northern European city modeled over the course of a year (too big of a file to upload here), is, as is also true for the rest of the city, not really based on anything in particular -- except, of course, various, medieval cities and fortifications across the northern part of medieval Europe. In short, then, even though inspired by surviving architecture from the period in question, the model itself is pure fiction (and all its faults should be ascribed to that very fact).
