These are sold in many office supply stores, Walmart, and Amazon.

The magnifying glass is held in by a thin walled, lipped bushing. If you tend to grab and twist on the front of the lamp, like most people, you can crack the ring. Then the glass falls out. I tried gluing it (Go E6000!!) but it soon cracked again.
Here's a replacement ring....it should fit on several versions. While the lamps look different the maganifying glass and attachment ring are just slightly varied. You may have to scale it up or down. I suggest printed the first few layers and removing what's on there to verify the scale. Adjust if needed and reprint it.
Don't monkey tighten this down. I think that's why the first one broke. It needs a little flex..or a total redesign to make it much beefier....Hmmm.....might do that.
