Students will follow a set of detailed instructions to create a widget. The instruction is centered around reading and understanding orthographic projection and isometric drawings. The initial instruction on how to create the widget on Inventor is guided. Once the widget is complete, students will use a drawing, their new found Inventor skills, and another set of detailed instructions to fabricate a fidget spinner on their own. The guidebook has a detailed set of instructions to help students construct the part and various worksheets that are needed. The lesson plan maps out the project.
