The Magic Wand Delta 3D Printer.... as shown here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwBe9YSDoow Build volume 280mm x 600mm+
I've had a request to post the stl files for this printer so posting them here now. I don't have the time right now to do a BOM or instructions. I've been refining my magnetic arm design since 2013. My first version was a modified Seemecnc Rostock Max V1. This latest version is my design using readily available components. I am using the seemecnc ezstruder and heated bed.
Misc Notes:
The dxf files were cut with a laser cutter and cnc router. Used 1/4" mdf for top and bottom covers and some 1/4" lite ply for the effector parts.

I use 3/8" chrome steel balls with 3mm screws JB welded to them. I use a heat lamp to ensure the JB weld cures properly. There are easier options out there with the studs already attached to the balls.
I've included the Jig I use to make my arms. End caps are ABS and epoxied onto 3/8" carbon fiber tube.
I use RADDS controller with Arduino DUE board and RAPS128 Stepper drivers.
Heated bed is available from seemecnc (280mm printable).
Self locking carriage derived from this and modified to support 9mm belts and MGN15H carriageshttp://www.thingiverse.com/thing:932959
For the LCD mount user your slicer to make a mirror so you can mount the lcd box on both sides.
