The crystal is from youtuber BigClive who did the original design in OpenSCAD. I modified his design slightly by adding a base inside ring to make it less likely to warp.
It is super easy to solder the led's in either a series (like Clive) or in parallel as I did. Parallel does not require each LED to have its own resistor. But you do need a voltage regulator. Then feed it with any old wall transformer 5V-12V and a small adjustable switching regulator like this one...https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32729546380.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4din7MEO
or any small step down v-reg to adjust to around 3V (adjust to desired brightness)
