If my things saved you time, money, or a trip to the store and you'd like to let me know, you can leave me a tip using Thingiverse's "Tip Designer" button. I've enjoyed the ability to tip designers for the same reasons.
This is a case for a Raspberry Pi that can be mounted on the front of a Lulzbot Taz (3, 4, 5, 6, and the upcoming 7) and provides an enclosure for the standard Pi Camera that aims at the center of the printbed. I created this to function as an OctoPi print server enclosure. I'm now using it with AstroBox. No access is provided to the IO header or LCD header, since I don't currently plan to utilize them.
This printed well in Verbatim PLA at 0.1mm layer thickness. Cura's HQ default setting on The Taz 5 came out less than ideal, and I sliced with Simplify3D for a much cleaner result on the camera enclosure. I'll provide the Gcode for the camera extension that ran on my Taz 5 with .5mm nozzle.
Be careful assembling the camera box to the enclosure - the tabs could snap off depending on your filament choice and layer adhesion.
The camera extension is designed to print with the prongs pointing upwards.
I retained the Pi Camera in the enclosure by stuffing a square of bubble wrap behind it and it works fine. The camera can be installed rotated 90° or the ribbon cable can be folded to install the camera in the "normal" orientation.
Attach the case to the Taz with a twist-in T-slot nut so you don't have to take anything apart. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:256124
