Many improvements have been made to london road. Individual seats replace the old main stand benches and a new stand on the park side has been built, seating almost 3000, with a terrance underneath. Both end terrances have been improved, the Station end terrance is now concrete and longer, and the Cow shed is much larger now. It will soon have a roof. The players now come in from the park side, the large office bloxck was bought and the ground floor now has all the neccacary players facilities. Bridgewater Town moved from the North Midland League to the Northern Alliance Premier. It was in 1925, an FA Cup fourth round Replay against Leeds United that the stadium got its highest ever pre- war attendance, of just over 16,500.
