The Little Victorian Shop is based on the sturdy buildings which were erected by the Victorians in huge numbers around the UK - particularly in the cities to cater to the masses who had migrated from the countryside to take up the opportunities that had been offered by the industrial revolution. Built to last, they've served their purpose for decades, with the many thousands that have survived the bombs of World War Two and the whims of town planners still in use today as pubs, doctor's surgeries and dental practices as well as shops of all kinds.

All walls and ceilings in the Little Victorian Shop can be moved, hidden or deleted, all doors and the upstairs windows can be opened and closed and there are morphs to open and close the upstairs curtains. Presets are included to help avoid loading items that won't be rendered, and there are presets to light the flames of the upper and lower gas lamps, as well as the flame of the street lamp outside. Also included is a ground prop and an outside wall to help provide some background between the building and the horizon if necessary.

Inside the shop is a moveable wall to the rear which includes a door which opens on to a basic space for those 'I'll just see if we've got one out the back, Madam' moments.

There are various fixtures and fittings included for the shop. A stove with 'lit' and 'unlit' presets can be situated in the stone fireplace to keep the shop cosy in winter (at least for as long as the customers can be persuaded to close the door behind them, and the blind in the window can be raised, lowered or left out altogether, depending on the nature of the business. Naturally our shopkeeper always keeps the premises and the pavement in front clean, so there's a broom for the task and a stool for a five-minute sit down behind the counter when the job is done. The counter itself has four opening drawers and a shelf to put back layaways and items for that 'special' customer. There's also a poster politely informing the less favored of the shop's credit policy.

In addition, there is a cash register with an opening drawer, a morphing box and parcel and a scale with a 'tilt' morph and weights which can be handled separately. The optional awning for outside the shop can be morphed open and closed, and there is a small step ladder of Victorian design which has a morph to fold it up. Lastly, there's a basket which can be used to display your wares (or even be sold itself), or parented to any figure so that your customers have no excuse not to load up with goods.

All wallpapers, paints and fabrics feature typical designs of the erea and use an authentic Victorian color palette.
