Lightweight underrun protection challenge
Mass: Mass: 48.509 Kg
P1=304 MPa
P2= 302MPa
P3= 296Mpa
Since i couldn't mesh my CAD file with Simscale due to some errors,the finite element analysis was conducted via ANSYS software.The 20 nodes 3D element was used which has higher order shape function.
The overall thickness was considered as 10mm according to challenge criteria,however by decreasing the thickness,lower mass will be achieved in vicinity of high stiffness
