This is a lightweight solution for converting the dual to a single extruder,
supporting the cables from being bent and incorporating a fan and air duct for object cooling.
It is recommended to print at least the top part and the nozzle in ABS.
Otherwise the top part tends to warp from motor heat (which is not a problem)
and the nozzle would probably warp too, being close to the extruder and heated bed.
All you need to complete the assembly are four 3mm screws, length 15mm to mount
the 40mm (standard or alternative) fan. You can either use self tapping PT screws or
Nylon screws for the ultimate weight saving experience (M3 tapping required).
The other two M3x40mm screws are the original.
The nozzle is a snug fit into the body and does not need any glue.
All parts are printed upside down!
Top part and nozzle are printed with 2 shells, 100% infill.
Body is printed with 2 shells, 15-20% infill.
Support is only recommended for the nozzle where it sits onn the aluminum bar.
No support inside the air ducts needed.
