Mount allows a Very nice fan duct to be mounted on a Taz5 (plus others).
Here is a link to the cooler duct:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1025471
The mount both adapts the duct with the fan on the left-hand side, and provides the necessary extension pad for the Y axis limit swtich. This keeps the stage from smashing the fan into the side of the structure when you home the Y-axis.
You have to drill a couple of holes in the underside of the stock extruder support body. You remove the extruder, put it upside down and hold it in position with some sort of softjawed vice, and position the mount with the duct attached on the extruder. You want to center the extruder hotend on the fan duct. you then drill with a #39 (2.5mm) drill through the hole in the center of the mount and into the extruder support. Tap that hole (or simply use the 3mm screw to form the threads) and tighten the screw. Take out the rear screw holding the duct to the mount, and drill and tap that hole in the extruder support. Replace the screw in the duct. Wire the fan up and remount the extruder and you are done.
This fan duct obscures your view of the part while it is printing, but makes absolutely gorgeous parts.
You run the fan to ~50% maximum near the bed. When the head gets up away from the bed you can run it to ~60%. You might wish to replace the 24volt 30W heater in your extruder with a 24volt 40W heater. You can then run the fan all the way up.
