The clip currently fits the phone perfectly. I am planning it to be used as inexpensive WiFi-IP cameras using the free Android app "IP Webcam".
I have included 2 types of brackets that provide several mounting options. You may need to play with the order you assemble the bracket and pivot depending the angles you want to be able to pivot to, and whether you want the bracket "above" or "below" the camera. Use the small square mounting bracket if you want a low-profile mount to screw onto something like a wall. Use the large triangular mount with pins if you want to attach it to glass with suction-cups, or discard the pins and you can use it as a stand/base.
Printing:
I recommend printing the main camera clip "on edge" so that every layer follows the contour that the phone fits in, this will prevent sagging or deformation in some of the parts. The other pieces probably don't matter as much.
I recommend a wide 5mm brim, especially for the triangular mounting point. This provides maximum bed adhesion and minimum warping. Clean up sharp edges with a file after pealing the brim off.
Assembly:
Use a 9/64" drill (or 1/8 with some "working" it bigger) to finish the screw holes to fit a #6-32 screw.
Assemble the bracket and pivot pieces using 6-32 x 3/4" screws with matching nuts (washers will not fit without modification due to small tolerances but they are not required).
If you use suction cups with the triangular mount, it is designed to fit "DORMAN 1355" type found at my local WalMart, remove plastic "J" hook from the center hole and feed the suction cup into the hole in the mount. Secure the suction cup with one of the pins (there should be 1 extra pin) by feeding the pin along the raised track and thru the center hole of the suction-cup. The pins are semi-circular, ensure the flat part faces the mount, this should fit the suction-cup exactly and "snap" into the raised edges on the mounting plate.
Addons:
To make your own "brackets" that will fit my part, you should have a "semi-circle" type mounting post. It should be up to 7mm wide with a 1.5mm hole in the middle to align with the one in the phone bracket.
