I recently bought an Lemon RX DSMX PPM 8-channel Receiver + Satellite and Failsafe (http://www.lemon-rx.com/shop/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=118). The receiver board comes sans enclosure (strange, since the satellite comes with an enclosure) so I built my own.
This is the first version and hasn't flown yet. Its rather thin-walled to keep weight down and I suspect I'll increase the wall thickness by 2-3 fold to improve the protection it provides to the board inside.
The top is a loose friction fit - my expectation is to use zip-ties to both keep the top closed during flight and hold the box to the vehicle.
There is a small ledge on the inside which the board sits on and a small column protruding from the top that keeps the board from jostling around. I've cut holes in the side to allow for the antenna, the failsafe button, the headers and the JST plug to be accessible through the walls of the enclosure. I will probably refine those in the future.
Upon request, added a new slot to accommodate a new version of the receiver that includes a diversity antenna. I don't have one so I've guessed at the required position based on another user's feedback - thank you @Hfamilyfun for the comments.
