The contemporary super car.

[STREET BODY]

It is a harmonization of opposing hallmarks for it is aggressive yet constrained. This is constructed by the synthesis of organic and geometric design elements. Sections of the body appear to be layered upon each other which is what makes this high-contrast design successful: a certain level of freedom is created for achieving a fluid two or tri-tone finish, including the much sought-after combination of exposed composite materials and painted surfaces.

A prime example exhibiting the success in this layered design language is the convertible component of this vehicle: with or without the roof on, the overall design appears finished. That is, the situation is avoided where the vehicle appears to either merely have its roof chopped off (which holds a degree of laziness in design), or have inflicted an interruption in the roof line with the panels on (therefore appearing awkward with the roof on). Either of these situations should be avoided given the target price range.

[TRACK BODY]

The layered panels allow for fresh takes on race car graphics, even for existing iconic schemes such as the Gulf livery. Each panel can be a solid colour, but many panels lend enough real restate to go forth with more traditional busy graphics.

The track body features extended and more functional aerodynamically-efficient body panels which appear to be more fluid with the overall design of the car-- an uncommon site for race cars. The front and rear spoilers have been extended and reinforced to meet maximum downforce requirements. The side layer has been fastened against the upper covering body to force additional air into the side air intakes (and more smoothly so). As well, the side door panel has been replaced to open an extractor for the front brakes.
