This is a mount for an APT Lighting World 15w laser head to fit in place of my Bosch Colt router. I used 123 design to create parts consisting of 6 parts: base (to fit router clamp), 4 sides (1 blank, 1 with slide in mount for current regulator board, 1 for a pair of xt60 rc power connectors, and 1 containing a hole for a bnc coaxial connector for pwm.) I used two xt60 connectors as I wanted to use the same power cable for my 48v spindle and the 12v laser; needed to make sure the power plugs would not be crossed. The xt60 connectors just pushed in and secured with a drop of thin super glue. The frame is matched to a 80mm computer case fan. Also Included is a dual plug end for xt60 connectors to fit 14-3 extension cord wire for power which I printed with support. The xt60 connectors are available at most hobby shops. Base connected to frame with thin super glue; other parts attached with 4-40 cap screws. Due to the flange on the laser I had to file a 2mm deep notch in the router clamp for the flange to clear (keep this rounded so as not to create stress points.) The side panels can be rotated to any side to allow different configurations.
Print material Black pla using my Flash Forge dreamer at medium resolution.
I included stl and 123dx files in assembled form; parts will need to be moved and aligned for printing.
Laser head purchased from ebay; The wire from the fan connected to the laser unit will need to be extended to reach board. No other modification needed to laser
