My first version of the Kumiko light box. It came out well. Few issues tho with it as the light isn't evenly distributed inside the box. That's probably because of the LED strip and the short pillar for them. Oops lol Also the holder doesn't stay put as I thought it would XD I saw a video of someone who posted a wooden kumiko lamp so I redesigned it in Fusion 360. I added the fusion 360 file in case anyone wants to fix it or modify it. It would be best to use a round led lamp or something in there to get the light evenly distributed. I only used LED strips because that's what I had in hand ATM :'(. I'm only releasing this as a concept XD
It's big BTW. Just scale it down to 53.19% when you print so you don't have to wait a day for one panel. I didn't reduce it in Fusion because I already noticed the design flaws of the design and was already working on Version 2 as I started printing.
I'm already working on version 2 already to fix some of the issues. Currently printing it out. There may be a version 3 as well which makes a frame which you just add the panels in so you can design and add your own stuff... Or add a litho in as well. This will also get rid of the openings on the sides which let light out XD Oh well... Next one I'm making is going to run on USB power as well to eliminate the need for wiring.
