NOTE: Assembly requires gluing
This is a remix of part DE of the WONDERFUL kuka KR150 industrial robot model, by blacklightshaman.
This part is design as one print and has 2 axis, one of which has very narrow clearances, making it very challenging to print with an FDM printer due to gaps being fused.
This is a 3 part version of the exact same part. it is divided into these part:
DEtop - which is the part when the gripper base is
DEmiddle- which is basically the stem of the DE part
DEhinge - the hinge that allows the gripper base to swivel sideways.
Assembly instructions:
After printing everything and removing supports, Take the hinge and place it the hole in DEmiddle (flat side - down). it should sit snugly inside and not move much. if you need to get a stronger grip, you might want to scale it up in 1 or 2 percents (not to much or it will become either to fat or two long or both)
this than goes inside of the DEtop (between that walls) note that the side with the big circular face correspond to the side with the bigger part on the DEtop. First to a measurement test, verifying everything is sitting together, then, put a tiny drop of any glue you might be using normally for prints, from each side of the hinge, make sure you dont get ANY glue near the clearance. quickly snap it into place. While glue is curing, constantly operate the hinge manually so any glue residues will not cure and make everything stuck...
thas it - good luck!
