A baroque masterpiece by Tylman van Gameren, dutch architect who setteled and conduct an architectural practice in Poland. Palace built in 1689-95 as a seat of aristocratic Krasiński family. Since XVIII century a seat of governmental bodies. In the years 1919-39 a seat of a Supreme Court. Partially destroyed by German troops in 1944. Reconstructed after the II WW. Nowadays you can find there a unique collection of old prints and manuscripts owned by the National Library.
