Designed this as a crude replacement for Kohler's one piece arm/flush mechanism which is glued together so when the plastic arm breaks off, you need to buy a completely new flush handle/system which could be costly if you have a nice metal flusher. Luckily mine was plastic, and I figured designing this "crown" (kind of like a tooth crown, eh?) with an arm attached to it would be quicker than summoning my apartment complex's amazing maintenance (/sarc). It was, and now I don't need to buy a new flush handle. I tried gluing with a metal reinforcement pin, but that broke the day after. This part is still holding up a month later without even needing the set screw!
I would make it a thing in progress, but hey, it does its job, I don't care how it looks inside the toilet tank. If it breaks, ill update. Cheers!
(See instructions for instructions -- I advise looking at the images to orient yourself to my toilet and any parts I might attempt to name whose variants may be found in yours)
Edit: 8/15/2015: This part held up for the rest of my lease, and maintenance got a kick out of it when they replaced the flapper. Great replacement if I do say so myself!
